Scope Of Work
Schooley Caldwell and GUND Partnership are collaborating as the design team for the $30 mil renovation of Columbus’ iconic Main Library, which consists of a 1907 Carnegie building and an addition built in the early 1990’s. GUND is serving as Design Architect with SCA as Architect-of Record.
CML has established several goals for the project, including:
- Better connect the library with the adjacent Topiary Park
- Expanded public and community-oriented spaces
- Help spur the revitalization of the surrounding neighborhood (the Discovery District)
- Improve patron services and experience
- Upgrade technology
