Scope Of Work
RS2 Architects donated its architecture services to design and complete construction documents for an ADA compliant entrance for the Villa Park VFW. The facility has done without and accessible entrance for over 30 years. Disabled veterans routinely have to be carried or lifted by other members up stairs to enter the building and participate in the posts activities. Principals Erick Roldan and Chuck Seen attended a groundbreaking ceremony along with other dignitaries. In attendance were Post Commander Dennis Geisemanm, Villa Park President Tom Cullerton and Alberto Valasco who is from Representative Peter Roskam’s office and also a representative from the Wounded Warrior Program in Washington DC.
