Scope Of Work
Pape-Dawson is providing civil engineering services for the redevelopment of the historic Pearl Brewery located in midtown San Antonio to a mixed-use development. The Pearl Brewery was established in 1883 and operated until 2001. The former brewery was purchased by a private entity and has since become part of the northern downtown revitalization effort. Because of its long history and location on the San Antonio River, Pape-Dawson addressed numerous environmental, drainage, and localized flooding issues related to this 18-acre site.
As part of the redevelopment, we provided civil engineering services for the 211-unit Can Plant and Townhomes multi-family development with a six-story parking garage located on the 3.92-acre site of an abandoned can warehouse. Services included a feasibility study; master planning and schematic design; platting; surveying; permitting; grading, drainage, and utility plans; traffic impact analysis; stormwater management plan; tree affidavit; and construction phase services. In addition, we provided the civil site design for the Culinary Institute of America's Center for Latin American Cooking and the Full Goods Warehouse mixed-use facilities with multi-family units.
