Scope Of Work
High Construction was selected as the construction manager to renovate and build an addition onto Franklin & Marshall College’s historic, two-story Distler House. Originally built in 1891, it is one of the oldest buildings on campus. The exterior renovation did not change the building's unique Tudor-style. A Barnes & Noble bookstore and Jazzman's cafe, featuring a two-story glass atrium, replaced the buildings outdated offices and meeting rooms. The facility offers a new gathering place at the center of campus for faculty, staff, students, and the community.
