Adams-Bickel

Joining ABA in 1987, Mr. Perea is an owner of the company, and currently holds the position of chief executive officer. He honed his leadership skills in the U.S. Navy where he received an honorable discharge, and through the Rapport Leadership International program as a Level II Master Graduate and Rapport Certified Specialist.

Mr. Perea has served as the chair of the Government Affairs Coordinating Committee for ABC (Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc.) National, on the board of directors, and as chair of the National Free Enterprise Alliance. An ABC Beam Club Hall of Fame member, Mr. Perea has also held numerous positions with the Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter of ABC, including chapter chairman in 1998 and 2004–2005. In addition, he serves on the Doylestown Borough Planning Commission, Doylestown Borough Building Code Committee, and the Doylestown Borough Energy Advisory Committee. Mr. Perea also serves on the Middle Bucks County Institute of Technology Local Advisory Council, and was appointed to the Bucks County PA RCO Advisory Committee. The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce honored Mr. Perea as its “2008 Small Business Person of the Year,” and in 2009 he was honored with the "Minority Business Leader Award" by the Philadelphia Business Journal. Mr. Perea earned a B.S. in construction engineering from Spring Garden College in Philadelphia.

Mr. Bello joined Adams-Bickel in 2013, and is an owner of the company. He currently holds the position of president and chief operating officer. His diversified experience in land development, risk management, financing, budgeting, bidding, planning, design, construction, interior design, and post-occupancy all combine to enhance the capabilities of the organization.

Mr. Bello currently serves as a member of the Business Development Committee of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter, the Villanova Football Club, and We Advance, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the health, safety, and well-being of women in Haiti. During his career Mr. Bello has been actively involved in the conceptualization, design, financing, and construction of a large award-winning residential and resort development project, founded and operated an energy solutions consulting firm, and has had primary responsibility for several large high visibilty projects in the City of Philadelphia and surrounding area. Mr. Bello earned his B.A. in finance from Villanova University, and a construction engineering certificate from Spring Garden College in Philadelphia.

Mr. Kraus assumed responsibilty for the accounting and finance operations at Adams-Bickel in 1989 and currently holds the position of chief financial officer. Prior to working at ABA, he was the controller/corporate treasurer and director of information services with Metalweld, Inc. for 10 years. He began his career as an accountant for Altemose Construction Company.

As a Level II Master Graduate of the Rapport Leadership International program, Mr. Kraus ensures the financial stability of the company, and manages its IT capabilities. He is past president of the Maxwell Systems Users Group, and served on the board of directors of the Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter of ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) from 2004–2010, and as secretary/treasurer of ABC’s Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter from 2004–2008. He also served as a member of the chapter’s Management Education Committee for many years, and is a member of the ABC Beam Club. Mr. Kraus majored in accounting at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa.

Mr. McMillin joined Adams-Bickel in 2016 and oversees all aspects of Preconstruction Services for the Company. Prior to working at ABA, he held positions in estimating and preconstruction at Nason Construction, Spring Garden Construction Company, and HSC Builders. He spent his earlier years in the industry with Shoemaker Southwest and L.F. Driscoll.

In 2019, Mr. McMillin was named Best of the Best by the Subcontractors Association of the Delaware Valley.  Complementing his vast knowledge of the construction industry and experience with estimating, budgeting, and value engineering, he earned a LEED Green Associate certification.  Mr. McMillin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa
