Full Inspection, Design and Construction Administration Services Window Replacement at the Chemistry, Machinery and Engineering Building
The project consisted of the design for the replacement of windows on three (3) buildings at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn Campus. The buildings range in age from 80 to 110 years old and were constructed in the Romanesque revival style with steel and wood single pane casement and double hung windows.
The design involved replacement with aluminum insulated windows replicating the original design. The work is being phased. As of date the windows have been replaced on the Chemistry Building and remaining two buildings area planned for 2013and 2014.
