1st choice Painting  was started  by Marion Armwood in 2003 when we started out doing residential remodeling, roofing, concrete. Marion comes from 3 generations of contractors and was taught from the very start to take pride in your work and always provide the highest quality and you will will survive any economy or obstacles. By 2005 1st Choice started concentrating on painting as Century 21 and Remax began trusting Marion with painting their homes!

By 2006, because of reputation and quality, we started getting projects including the Office of the Mayor in Mount Olive, NC Head Start buildings, day care centers and government projects such as Seymour Johnson Air Force Base and Camp Lejune.   Today we do a lot of rest homes, the Brain Center in Goldsboro and many restaurants, including Pizza Hut and East Coast Wings.
