Formica Demolition was formed when its founders discovered that their services could be utilized in the local area. Originating in Downingtown as an excavation company a demolition division branched off serving local contractors and homeowners. Now based in Birdsboro, we provide our services throughout the tri-state area. We are a three Generation family owned company with over 50 years of combined experience. Mission Statement We are committed to providing quality services to our customers. For years we have been recycling all facets of the construction and demolition waste stream. We are committed to waste stream reduction to minimize impact at local landfills and maximizing recycling for a better world for all of us.

We are a full service demolition company offering complete demolition, removal, and disposal of industrial, commercial, or residential projects. Interior, exterior, total or selective. We also perform site clearing, tree removal, stump removal, foundation removal, pool removal, flooring and carpeting removal, and much more. There is no problem with more sophisticated surgical projects requiring selective hand demolition.

A few of our larger projects have been Mrs. Smith Bakery in Pottstown, PA which was an Industrial demo of more than 10 buildings over a 7-acre tract and an Interior strip out of 2 more buildings; An Industrial Commercial demo of the Tamiment Resort, Bushkill, PA taking down a 400 room hotel, indoor / outdoor pools, tennis facilities and several restaurants; and the Hechinger Shopping Center in Dover, DE.
