Our Story

Company Overview

P. Flanigan and Sons was founded in 1885 to serve the infrastructure needs of Baltimore City as it grew and modernized.

We are an area leader in heavy civil construction projects. Transportation infrastructure construction, maintenance, and improvement is a key function of our business. At P. Flanigan & Sons, we service the range of transportation modalities from city streets to state highways, and from seaports to airports.  We also construct and maintain infrastructure for industrial, medical, and educational campuses. Whether we are on city streets, state highways, airport runways, or anywhere in between, we take pride in the quality of services we offer our customers and partners.

We also offer a variety of high quality asphalt and crushed-concrete materials for purchase. Our products are engineered using high-quality raw materials, modern equipment, and modern quality control laboratories.

Expertise

At P. Flanigan & Sons, we have over 130 years of experience completing infrastructure improvements and maintenance projects of various complexities and sizes. Construction is a service industry and we seek to use the best project management techniques for our customers.

Team

Our team is comprised of people who are proud of their careers at P. Flanigan & Sons. At every level of our organization, our customers encounter people with broad construction experience and education. We seek the most challenging projects and customers because they provide the experiences that make us grow stronger.
