Scope Of Work

The Huggins Honda new car dealership has been located on Loop 820 in northeast Tarrant County since the early 80's. In May of 1999 Mr. Gene Huggins, Mr. Ron Huggins and their architect Stephenson Architects selected Component Construction Company to provide construction services to remodel the Service Write Up and Customer Waiting areas. While this work was underway, Huggins asked Component to provide additional services to renovate the Sales and Administrative areas and to enlarge the Showroom including following Honda's new nation wide dealership design. The design includes a unique circular entry and wave canopy for the exterior and a customer friendly showroom with an Info Center, Child's Play Room and open, comfortable Sales Consultation areas. Through careful planning, close communication and tremendous cooperation from the Owners, the complete renovation was accomplished while the dealership continued to sell and service automobiles. The end result was a project that pleased everyone and brought the dealership accolades from the corporate sales division of American Honda.

Since completion of the work, the Huggins family has retained Component Construction to provide additional services in the Service Area at the Honda facility and to renovate the Customer Waiting, Service Write Up and Parts areas of the Huggins Mitsubishi dealership.
