Scope Of Work
This state-of-the-art facility was built to meet the needs of the worship team and musical ministry for the New London Presbyterian Church. The new building was constructed of a pre-engineered Miller metal building, which provided the framework and structure. In addition to the shell, the second and third floors are composed of a composite floor system consisting of bar joist and steel framing. The exterior of the building was constructed with 16 gauge steel studs covered with DensGlass, and the entire roof was selected to be a standing seam metal roof with multiple roof pitches, which helped define the character of the new building. Inside, the building includes a new ADA compliant sanctuary that can accommodate over 800 people, two projection screens, audio/visual and theatrical lighting, two multi-purpose rooms, multiple offices and a cafe and lounge.
