MGT Construction’s mission is to provide value-added construction services to our customers by creating successful partnerships throughout the construction process.  We are a relationship driven company that strives to create repeat business by exceeding our clients’ expectations. Presently, over 85% MGT’s annual volume is generated by repeat business. We always seek to add value for our clients through innovation, foresight, integrity, and timely performance. At MGT Construction we understand that striking the perfect balance between schedule, quality, and budget leads to successful construction projects.  Our primary goal is always to provide quality service, in a timely manner, for competitive price, resulting in successful ventures for our clients.

History

MGT Construction was chartered in 1988 as a member of Morton G. Thalhimer, Inc.  As a subsidiary of the leading commercial real estate firm in the Central Virginia region, we understand the important roles that construction costs and schedules play in making any real estate deal financially viable.  We are licensed in several states and municipalities throughout the mid-Atlantic region, and we offer a broad range of construction services from client representation to project design to complete project management and construction.

Currently, MGT employs 25 full-time construction professionals capable of providing custom designed construction services to meet all of our clients’ needs. Those uniquely qualified individuals coupled with our long-standing relationships with qualified subcontractors, tradesmen, material suppliers, and design professionals enable us to navigate the complex challenges of today’s construction industry.  Our company management and project managers average over 30 years of construction experience, and our unique relationship with the commercial real estate community helps us provide client sensitive, relationship driven construction services unrivaled in the industry.  Each member of our construction team brings his unique talents to bear to complete all of our construction projects on time and within budget.
