Glen Trematore's Bio
Glen joined Church Development Services ten years ago when his father approached him to help sell the business. Believing that God had prepared him for Kingdom expansion, he bought in to the firm, and then took over the business on the passing of his father. Glen has been instrumental in returning CDS to its roots as a developer, and adding financial services to provide an unparalleled level of offerings to churches.
Before establishing his church development and expansion ministry, Glen’s career in corporate America was spent in five-star/five-diamond hospitality management and on Wall Street, primarily as a licensed proprietary trader. His time as a trader has helped him develop a keen sense for risk/reward assessment. He has led initiatives that reduced operating budgets, turned around business operations’ overall performance, created operating standards and procedures, and implemented quality assurance programs. He was a board member of a small, publicly-listed REIT specializing in age-restricted housing, workforce housing, independent and assisted senior living, and commercial land development. Glen hosted his own radio show, “All Things Financial”, has spoken nationally, and has been invited to speak from the pulpit. A respected leader, he is able to build highly motivated teams focused on achieving specific and measurable goals.
Glen is a member of Spring Branch Community Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is involved in several ministries as a servant, and has led bible study at the church in both youth and adult education. He is a member of the financial board of Young Life Capernaum of Hampton Roads, and a sponsor for Orphan Network. Glen is fond of exploring the bible and lists among his influences Oswald Chambers, Dr. Gilbert Bilezikian, Bill Hybels, Richard and Henry Blackaby, Charles and Andy Stanley, Michael Simone, and Dallas Willard. Glen relaxes by spending time with his family, playing golf, and can occasionally be found doing endurance events and triathlons.
Glen is not an architect, and CDS, as defined under the North Carolina Board of Architecture’s Architectural Practice Act, is not an architectural firm.
Kurt Werth's Bio
Kurt learned about Church Development Services (CDS) from his men’s group bible study leader, Glen Trematore, principal and owner of CDS. When CDS wanted to find office space and administrative support, Kurt had open office space and an ability to provide the support Glen sought. At that time, Kurt didn’t know what God was planning for this “office sharing” idea, but God has no small plans!
Kurt became an investor in the Church of the Harvest construction project in Olive Branch, MS managed by CDS. He then provided CDS with its accounting and back office support as a favor to Glen. It was apparent that CDS needed full-time administration because God was blessing CDS with more business than the current CDS staff could handle. Kurt’s background in investment banking and capital raising was an added value that Glen recognized was needed by CDS. Glen approached Kurt to become a partner/owner in December 2008, and Kurt became a full partner/owner of CDS in January 2009.
Kurt has been involved with church finance committees for over twenty years, both as a member and as chairman. Kurt is a member of the Executive Board for Young Life Capernaum of Hampton Roads (was formerly Chairman), which provides gospel learning opportunities to young people with mental and physical disabilities. Kurt and his wife, Lori, have three children and are active members of Spring Branch Community Church where Kurt is the Chairman of the Compensation and Finance Committees. Kurt and Lori are both Small Group Leaders for Children’s Sunday school.
Kurt is not an architect, and CDS, as defined under the North Carolina Board of Architecture’s Architectural Practice Act, is not an architectural firm.

Sandra Belanga Talbot's Bio
Sandy joined Church Development Services in June 2011 to assist CDS with accounting operations and general office management. As an area native, Sandy brought with her an already-established working relationship with many local contractors, architects, engineers, and municipal agencies for a variety of projects including schools, office buildings, shopping centers, food service venues, medical facilities, prison facilities, department stores, warehouse facilities, and religious facilities.
Prior to joining CDS, Sandy has spent her entire career in the field of architecture and construction. Sandy’s first 9 years were spent with Virginia Beach City Public Schools as Administrative Assistant for the Staff Architect, Construction Inspectors, and Project Managers.
In 1983, Sandy joined a local architect in private practice, and over the next 30 years, helped to establish and grow the firm. Beginning as a secretary, Sandy quickly moved up the ladder assuming the position of Office Manager, and, eventually, Assistant to the President. Being named an associate in the firm as well as a minority stockholder soon followed.
In past years, Sandy has served as a Teen Youth Group Leader and Mentor for Pembroke Manor United Church of Christ coordinating activities and outings and helping teens understand and build a closer relationship with God as they faced life’s everyday challenges.
