As President of Donohoe Construction, Steve Crowder is responsible for guiding and overseeing all business operations conducted by the company’s construction division and its New Construction, Rapid Response, and Building Enhancements service groups. With a focus on excellence and efficiency, Steve monitors every phase of the construction process, ensuring operations align with both customer and company standards and objectives.

Steve brings an impressive background of over two decades in the construction industry, with over 15 years dedicated to Donohoe. Throughout his career journey within Donohoe Construction, Steve has held various key positions, including Project Engineer, Project Manager, Vice President of Operations, General Manager, and Senior Vice President. This diverse range of roles has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the construction process from the ground up to high-level management.

Lance has over thirty years of construction industry experience. As Senior Vice President, he is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the projects to which he is assigned, from contract negotiations to closeout. His experience includes hospitality, residential, educational, commercial, retail, restaurant, and institutional projects. Prior to his current role, Lance was a Senior Project Manager with Donohoe Construction. He received his degree from the University of Maryland.

Neil has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including 10 years representing owners. He has been with Donohoe since 2001 and has worked as Vice President of Operations, Preconstruction, and Purchasing. As Executive Vice President, Neil oversees all aspects of Business Development and Preconstruction. He received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Penn State and his master’s in business administration from the University of Maryland.

As Vice President/General Manager of the Building Enhancements Division, Mr. Short is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business unit. His responsibilities also include oversight of the Preconstruction & Estimating Team and leading the business development strategies in pursuit of new work.  His background in Project Management and Director of Estimating provides unique insight in developing execution strategies for new opportunities.

Drew has been with Donohoe Construction for over 18 years, having served in the New Construction, Building Enhancements, and Rapid Response divisions.  Drew is responsible for the redevelopment and organization of the Companies Service Department as well as Donohoe’s Yard Facilities.  Drew currently serves as Chair for Donohoe Construction’s Training Committee and serves as a mentor in the Donohoe Companies mentorship initiative.

As Vice President, Drew has executive oversight of budgeting, estimating, project management, and field staff in both the Building Enhancements and Rapid Response Divisions ensuring the overall success of each project during all phases of construction.

As Senior Vice President of Preconstruction Services, Larry is responsible for all aspects of estimating from conceptual budgets through preconstruction to competitive bids. His experience includes residential, hospitality, medical, educational, office, retail, institutional, and industrial projects. He is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the computer estimating and bidding systems and the upkeep of historical cost data files.  Larry joined Donohoe in 1986 and has worked in the construction industry for over 40 years. He received his degree in economics and psychology from the University of Virginia.

As Vice President, Pete provides overall management direction, establishes project objectives and policies, serves as a liaison to prime client contacts, and monitors construction and financial activities through administrative direction of on-site personnel. He has over 20 years of construction industry experience and graduated from Frostburg University with a degree in business administration.

Tim has been with Donohoe for 19 years and has over 31 years of experience in the construction industry. He brings that experience and knowledge to Donohoe’s projects. As Senior Vice President, he is involved with every facet of the projects to which he is assigned, from contract negotiations to closeout. Tim is charged with the responsibility of overseeing all operations conducted by the proposed project team. He received his civil engineering degree from the University of Maryland.

As Vice President, Neal is charged with the responsibility of overseeing all operations conducted by the proposed project team. Neal graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a degree in business finance.
