Ramsey Cabinets & Counters

I worked for Walker Countertops for a number of years and with the knowledge I gained from that experience I was able to start a business for myself. Ramsey Countertop L.L.C. was established in Aledo, Texas in 1989 with minimal equipment, one customer and prayer. That was also the year my wife, Denice, started nursing school. So, not only was I starting a new business I was also the sole supporter of my family.

My shop was in a 2,400 sq. ft. building. As God allowed our business and family to grow we moved to Weatherford, Texas to a rented 5,000 sq. ft. building with front offices. In 1996 one of my employees and I attended the International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta, Georgia. While there we bought our first edge bander, double head line boring machine, Evans pinch roller and sliding table saw. Production was moved to our current location where we own and occupy a 4,200 sq. ft. building and a 1,500 sq. ft. office and design center.

As business continued to grow from offering a variety of countertop and laminated commercial case work, in 2013 we made the decision to offer custom wood cabinets and change our name to Ramsey Cabinets and Counters L.L.C. We added a CNC machining center, double head drum sander, door department and Cabinet Vision, a software program that enables us to present customers with a 3-D rendering of the cabinets.

With all the changes that Ramsey Cabinets and Counters L.L.C. has experienced over the last two decades we are still able to produce top quality products that customers have come to expect.
