Scope Of Work
International Contractors, Inc. served as the General Contractor for the expansion and remodel of this 10,000 SF town hall originally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright’s son as a church.
Maintaining the design scheme of the original building, ICI restored exposed glue laminate beams in administrative offices and the township’s equipment storage facility.
The project had a unique soil condition challenge, as it was located over a dried creek bed. Extensive excavation was undertaken and membrane waterproofing was implemented throughout the entire basement.
The addition copied from the original design elements, suggesting a vessel in motion.
“..We are extremely happy with the building,” said Township Supervisor, Mark Thompson. “The workmanship is excellent. The personnel from International Contractors with whom we worked with were all outstanding.”
