D.F. Tomasini Contractors, Inc.

D. F. Tomasini Contractors, Inc. was founded by Donald F. Tomasini in 1975. Don earned a degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1954 and worked for his father for twenty-one years, at Tomasini Contractors, before launching D. F. Tomasini Contractors Inc. in 1975.

Don saw a need for a quality, honest contractor in the industry… he met that need, and D. F. Tomasini Contractors, Inc. continues on the path that Don set back in 1975.

Under Don’s guidance, D. F. Tomasini Contractors, Inc. has become one of the largest public works contractors in Southeastern Wisconsin. He said his success was based on “lots of hard work, determination, and sacrifice”.

Don also credited his success to surrounding himself with quality employees. Don took great pride in knowing that his superintendent, foreman, as well as the operators, and laborers were, and still are, the best in the industry.

Don passed away October 17, 2005 but his legacy lives on through his son John D. Tomasini, who is now the owner of D. F. Tomasini Contractors, Inc. John graduated from Concordia University in 1987 with a Business Administration major and a marketing and accounting minor.  He also worked along side Don for more than 25 years. John is committed to the same principals on which the company was founded.
