Mr. Hunter is a native to Atlanta. He received a BA from Duke University and an MBA from Shorter College. His early construction career included time as a GC Office Manager on two Marta Line and Station projects, as well as Director of Construction for the Rains Company, a real estate company with both multi-family and commercial property holdings. He spent ten years with the Atlanta Market Center (now Americas Mart) as the Owner Construction Manager for the addition to ADAC, the Merchandise Mart, the Apparel Mart, Inforum, the San Francisco Fashion Center, and the Gift Mart. While there, he created and developed the Showroom Construction Program, responsible for the construction of thousands of display showrooms. In 1993, he joined Williard-Stewart in High Point, NC and spent 5 ½ years building showrooms at the High Point Furniture Market. In 1997, he returned to Atlanta and spent his years with Price Davis, Tower Interior Construction and Foley Construction, building a variety of projects, notably the Sandy Springs Police Department ($800,000.00), the renovation of the Metro Atlanta Chamber ($1.5 million) and the renovation to the US headquarters of World Pay US ($1.6 million).
