Scope Of Work

Anthony Wayne Apartments consists of three conjoined buildings of 11 stories, 6 stories, and 8 stories.  The buildings consist of prefabricated steel wall panels that are set in place with a crane.  The key structural walls are then welded in place and then cross braces are shortened as the building takes on weight.  Amerivet Services performed all welding on structural walls, as well as other specialized services such as welding mounting plates and beams in elevator shafts, installing support beams, field fabrication of roof curbs, and installation of brick relief angles.

While working in conjunction with other skilled trades and utilizing Eisen's engineered panels, we completely assembled the steel structure for 400 apartments in only 56 weeks.  While we initially had a small role in the project, Amerivet Services quickly gained a large list of responsibilities as we demonstrated our problem solving skills in the course of this cutting edge project!  In the end, we were seen as the only contractor capable of welding heavy steel to light gauge galvanized material in the field, and proved invaluable to the general contractor on a daily basis!
