Scope Of Work

Saluda Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center needed to replace a low pressure steam boiler (less than 15 psig design) just prior to the heating season.  As such, this left little time to acquire and install the boiler.  The old boiler had to be cut apart to remove it from the boiler room due to space and access limitations.  The same limitations also reduced the types of low pressure boilers that could be installed.  Combustion Services Inc. chose a Weil-McLain cast iron boiler to install as these boilers come in sections that are field installed, take up less room, and have a proven reliability.  Combustion Services Inc. completed the boiler install and commissioning prior to the major portion of winter cold weather.
