Blasting & Drilling

If rock is the problem, we are the answer. J Fritz Inc. provides blasting and/or drilling services for projects located in Northern/Central New Jersey. We guarantee our blasting services we remove any and all rock necessary to get the project completed the right way.

Blasting projects require a minimum of 6 ft. drill depth. These services are typically used for commercial and residential building foundations and additions. J. Fritz Inc. specializes in close proximity blasting. For example, J Fritz Inc. has been granted permission by Anna L Klein Elementary School and William Patterson University on multiple occasions to blast while school was in session.

Hammering

If you do not want to blast, then hammering might be your option. J. Fritz Inc. uses an 8,500lb Gorilla hydraulic hammer to chip and break unwanted rock. Unlike blasting, we cannot guarantee that a hammer will efficiently remove all your rock in a timely manner. It all depends on the type of rock we are dealing with and the depth required for your project. Weathered rock will break a lot easier, so the deeper the rock the harder it gets.

Pool Foundations

J. Fritz Inc. is a subcontractor for Anthony & Sylvan Pools. We handle the beginning stages of building a pool that are guaranteed to last a lifetime. We excavate, hammer/blast if needed (if there is rock in the pool area), install forms, and gravel the base.

Site Work

J. Fritz Inc. provides a wide variety of site work that includes but is not limited to earth work, drainage, sanitary, rock removal, demolition, curbing, & trench work.

Seismic Monitoring

All blasting is done according to NJ department of labor rules and regulations. J. Fritz Inc. performs all seismic monitoring in house to measure and analyze ground induced vibrations and air over-pressure when performing blasting services. Our seismographs are calibrated every year annually directly by the original manufacturer to comply with state laws and to ensure that all readings are accurate
