Scope Of Work
This project is the renovation of a 367,565 square foot Vocational High School located on a 90 acre site. The existing building was constructed in the early 1970 and first occupied in 1973. It has been utilizing most of the original infrastructure which is at the end of its useful life. Upgrades and renovations to the building were done in multiple phases over three years while the building remained occupied and in use. Modernization work included roofing, windows, doors, HVAC system, emergency generator, life safety systems, ADA compliance, science classrooms, plumbing and lighting systems. Phasing was scheduled so as to minimize impact on school operations and to keep construction activities separate from occupied areas of the school.
