Newport Builders

Newport was started over 30 years ago by Jim Tally. Originally from Newport Beach California Jim and his wife Lisa moved to DFW, started Newport Builders and began building CVS Pharmacy’s, Chilis and Walgreens.  Jim realized his true passion was in Real Estate so 15 years after moving to Texas Jim began Newport Properties; and started building Office Parks and custom homes!

Currently we have over a dozen office parks and over 30 residential lease properties. Newport is a family oriented business; with our true beliefs rooted in scripture and the belief that Jesus Christ has called us to serve Him first and foremost Jim and his wife Lisa have instilled these values in their kids that now contribute to the business.

Brian Tally, the oldest of 4 boys, acts as Newport’s primary leasing agent. Brian has taken advantage of his real estate knowledge and bought over 20 residential homes and 6 commercial properties. Brian also acts as general contractor for most of the remodeling and updating of our properties. 2 years ago Brian and his wife opened up Newport Realty a Real Estate Brokerage which allows us to assist you in buying, selling and leasing. A true one stop shop for all of your real estate needs!
