Our Story
Rick McDonald launched Arctic Commercial Refrigeration, a Portland Oregon based company, in 2006.
Before creating Arctic Commercial Refrigeration, Rick built a solid local client base for 10 years, independently installing and servicing hundreds of draft beer systems for Portland restaurants and pubs.
Before that, Rick installed draft beer dispensing equipment for a Miller Beer distributor in San Francisco, California.
In his spare time, Rick is active in mountaineering, ice climbing, mountain bicycling, organic gardening, and home improvement. He also volunteers his time teaching rock climbing to Portland youngsters.
Rick is a certified and licensed General Contractor.
