Our Story

DeJong & Potter Electric was established in 2002 by co-founders Jim DeJong and Derrick Potter.  Wiring houses is what we did, and we did  it well.  We have been steadily growing.  We still wire houses but with the crews God has blessed us with, we now wire multifamily dwellings and commercial facilities and we still do it well.  Over the years, our quality has stood above the competition.  It has been exciting to see customers that recognize quality and value come back year after year.  We are thankful to our customers and employees who have made it possible for us to celebrate 16 years of serving Michigan for quality electrical installations.  We look forward to many more by the grace of God.
