Bell Structural Solutions

Bell Structural Solutions is a full-service manufacturer of custom glued-laminated timber (glulam), specializing in commercial structures that utilize the unique features of glulam.  We offer Douglas fir, Southern pine, and decay-resistant Cedars; as well as in-house fabrication with pre-fitting of steel hardware, in-house preservative treating, and Design-Build assistance.

Our glulam manufacturing facility (ALAMCO Wood Products) has been in business since 1938, and our parent company (Bell Lumber & Pole) has been in the utility pole business since 1909. 

Our technical sales representative is stationed in San Antonio, TX and has over 25 years of experience in the glulam industry.  A Bachelor's and Master's graduate of Texas A&M University in Structural Engineering (Agricultural Engineering Dept, specializing in Wood as a Structual Material).  Between 1990 and 2007, served as a Forest Service Research Wood Scientist with the USDA Forest Products Laboratory in Madison, WI, with a focus on glulam research.  Returned to Texas in 2013 as an Engineered Wood Specialist with APA - The Engineered Wood Association in Houston.  Now with Bell Structural Solutions in San Antonio - expanding our glulam market in Texas and International regions.
