Our Story

Einstein Electrical Corporation was founded by Ivan Butkovic, a licensed Master Electrician with over 15 years of industry experience. Based in Astoria, Queens, our team of eight qualified technicians proudly serves all 5 boroughs. Since 2006, we’ve been earning a reputation for placing our customer’s needs first – one client at a time.

Born in Croatia, Ivan Butkovic received his early training there as an Electronic Technician at the School of Electrical Technology. A natural trouble shooter, Ivan’s entrepreneurial aspirations surfaced at a young age. In 1996, he immigrated to the US to pursue his dream of establishing his own electrical contracting business.

Ivan spent eight years as a Project Manager servicing high-end residential apartments and townhouses in New York City before enrolling in the Master Licensed Electrician Program. Following two years of rigorous practical and theoretical training and exams, he was awarded his Master Electrician license, and in December of 2006, Einstein Electrical Corporation was born.
