Scope Of Work

One of Walt Disney World’s latest additions to their shopping, dining, and entertainment complex formerly known as Downtown Disney (now dubbed Disney Springs) is D-Luxe Burger.

D-Luxe Burger is nestled on the shoreline of Town Center, the newly built area of Disney Springs. The interior is themed as an abandoned ranch house, with a lot of the furniture and decor representing recycled items from the old establishment. Its fictitious storyline is that the Glowing Oak Ranch was made into a burger restaurant after introducing a very popular hamburger at the fictional World’s Fair that was held on the West Side in 1950. Now, hundreds of thousands of people will flock to this stylish and tasty counter service hamburger joints.

Acousti Engineering Company of Florida had a great time helping to bring this restaurant to life by selecting and installing several different types of acoustical ceiling products from The American Tin Ceiling Company; but, that isn’t to say that there were no challenges to creating the rustic ceiling appearance this unique venue required. For this project, Acousti used eight different patterns and eight different colored tin tiles to give D-Luxe Burger its rustic charm. Typically, ceiling constructions are all one product for a new, fresh look. Because of this unique design and installation, Acousti trained subcontractors and the general contractor on the installation’s means and methods. 

At the end of the project, the ceiling came out perfectly and even with last minute design and product selections; we were able to complete the project on time. Acousti’s vigilance in working with the other trades and remaining in constant communication with the vendors and subcontractors allowed us to accomplish this project with our high level quality. We’re proud to have worked on such a fun and unique project.
