In 1913, when the idea of Simonson Lumber began as a seed in the mind of Nels Simonson, we are quite sure he never dreamed over 100 years later, the business he created would be growing and flourishing!  Under the current direction of Nels three grandsons – Michael, Stephen, and Richard Hobbs, Simonson Lumber has stood the test of time by partnering with our customers to help build their business by providing superior building products and exceptional customer service.
 

We’ve added to the family.  In 2018, we added to our “Simonson Family” with the acquisition of Minnesota Lumber…now known as “Simonson Lumber - West” in St. Cloud.  Working together, we are learning new ideas and ways to grow the commitment to builders and the industry. The common goal is simply customer satisfaction!
