Our Story
Sandy Excavating, Inc. is locally owned and operated by Bill Sandy (President) and Gus Ruiz (Vice President). Although Sandy Excavating, Inc. opened in 2000, Bill has 18 years experience in the excavating business. Bill started his first company, W. T. Sandy Contracting, Inc. in 1995. This company specializes in installing interior trim and custom cabinets in new homes for Charleston Homes, Ryan Homes, Centex Homes and many others.
Gus Ruiz started his first company Ruiz Contracting, Inc. in 1994. This company supplies drywall and paint to some of the same builders, so Bill and Gus have a very well established relationship with the construction industry.
