JMP is family-owned and oriented and was founded by Joe Cangelosi, initially providing handmade unique display pieces to all kinds of boutiques and department stores. Beginning as “JMP Display Fixtures” Joe Cangelosi along with brothers Mario & Peter set up shop in Brooklyn circa 1974 to show the world their talent at creating unique wood display fixtures. Since the family trade was passed down to Joe’s son, Michael, JMP Display Fixtures expanded to JMP Wood Stairs & Rails and JMP Woodturning. Combining timeless knowledge of wood management along with new age designs and technology, JMP is an unstoppable leader in the millwork industry.
