Newtec Windows and Doors was started over ten years ago by Jimmy Lei.  His philosophy is to provide a superior product with unmatched service and support.  With 35,000 sq. ft., five employees and some used equipment, Jimmy started a small manufacturing operation servicing contractors in the retrofit window market on the South Side of Chicago.  He has grown the business into a modern window factory, producing everything from aluminum storefront systems to high-end, state of the art, architectural grade vinyl windows.  Newtec now works with some of the largest General Contractors in Chicago, while still keeping a strong, loyal customer base of small contractors and walk-in business.

Jimmy has remained true to his starting philosophy of excellent service with a local flavor.  Newtec still offers same day glass replacement and the quickest turn-around of custom windows in the business.  This level of support is provided to the large projects too, and Newtec has become known for having regular representation from the factory at commercial jobsites with that same can-do attitude - solving problems and providing solutions to keep projects on time and under budget.

With Jimmy Lei driving the business, Newtec continues to grow.  The manufacturing facility is now over 110,000 square feet.  Another new 4 Point Welder was installed last year along with a CNC corner cleaner.  An upgraded glass line and new stainless steel intercept system were also installed.  A full wood grain foiling line is going in this summer, providing cost-effective upgrades to vinyl windows and more expansion is soon to follow.
