South Shore Gunite Pools and Spas, INC. has been building commercial and competition level swimming pools since the 1980s as an expansion from our residential pool construction business.  Since then we have installed over 50 ymca pools and hundreds of other commercial swimming pools around New England and New York.  

SSG strives to build the best pools out there and we do so by following all codes and regulations required from the IBC to local ordinances we understand how to build swimming pools to be compliant with all agencies and will inform our customers if their design does not fit the requirements for their area.  This happens a lot.

SSG also has never been late on a pool project.  We work with YMCAs and many other organizations where completing the project on time is the only option.  To do this we have moved away from relying on subcontractors.  We build all of our pools with our in house staff of 180.  We are a different type of sub.  We are on your site sometimes before anyone else and are there until the owner moves in so we understand the importance of getting off to the right start to be able to hit the completion date.

After some research many customers have waited a year for their pool project to start because we will not take on more work than we can complete.  However we are capable of handling 10-15 commercial projects at any given time.
