Our Story
JMI was established in 1983 by Allen Johansen. Our motto of providing excellent customer service and quality work is the foundation to our companies success since 1983.
Slow, conservative growth has allowed us to build our customer base, and diversify our capabilities along the way. Being able to react quickly and efficiently to our customers’ needs has provided a reputation in the industry that we are very proud of.
We are a second generation, family owned business. Keith Johansen and Derek Holm lead JMI into the 2nd generation. Allen is currently retired, enjoying the Arizona weather in the winter and Seattle weather in the summer, in addition to several trips out of the country each year.
