Our Story

After 19 years working in the construction industry Candace Friedman decided to try her hand at her own business and opened Acme Safety & Supply Co. in 1999 with the goal of providing the best service in the traffic control business in town.

All of us here at Acme feel that our dedication to superior service sets us apart. We know our regular customers by name and take the time to get to know them. Acme employees are all friendly and helpful and love to joke around.

Our Sign Shops can make any logo or create any custom sign, banner, boat ro vehicle stickers, as well as standard traffic signs.

Our traffic plan and permit department has a good rapport without he planning department and works hard at getting what our customers need (often at the last minute!). We can give your quotes on having our traffic techs do set-ups, take-down, maintains, and flagging operations.

Our traffic techs are some of the most friendly, helpful, efficient and courteous delivery guys you will ever run across. When a customer pulls into the yard, you can often find Candace herself loading a truck with a forklift, unloading equipment, or hooking up an arrowboard.

Last but not least, if you should ever have any problem with Acme Safety & Supply, Candace will make things right. We value our Customers above all else and strive hard to provide exceptional service.
