JV Electric was founded in 1970 as Jesse Villarreal Electrical Contractors by Jesse Villarreal Sr., who previously served as President and General Manager of Jesse & Chandler Electrical Contractors--one of the largest electrical contractors in South Texas at the time. Jesse Villarreal, Jr., took over ownership of the company in 1992 after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 1983, and working as electrician, estimator, master electrician, and later as general manager and president of the business.
Over the years, JV Electric has performed a wide variety of projects including hotels, shopping centers, medical facilities, schools, retail stores, restaurants, office buildings and manufacturing plants. We have performed work from Dallas to Corpus Christi, with our main territory being the San Antonio area. We are fully licensed, bonded and insured at levels exceeding required minimums.
