Not knowing they were on their way to starting a business, the Fradianni brothers sealed their first driveway out of a Volkswagen Beetle in 1981. Mike and Steve Fradianni got their first job with a lead from their father Joseph, who worked as a sales estimator for a local paving company. Out of their home in South Windsor, the brothers worked summers sealing driveways and brought their younger brother Joe in to help out as things began to take off.

Leads from their father, led to more work throughout Hartford area towns and cities. After Mike went off to school in Montana, Joe stepped in and became a key man in the business. In 1986, their father Joseph left his job with the local paving company and joined Steve and Joe to help grow the business, while their mother Geri joined in to run the office, making it a true family business.

Steve returned to the business in 1989, opening up the Danbury location, while father and son, Joseph and Joe, carved out a solid name which ironically didn’t include their initials. By 2008, both Joseph and his wife Geri had retired from the business, leaving Joe and Steve to run their respective locations in South Windsor and Danbury, which today employs over 25 people
