Our Story
H&W Door Company was founded by Harold Hawk and Wayne Wagner in 1967. The shop was located on Morgan Ave. in Akron, Ohio. They installed Phenix overhead doors and Genie operators (Alliance Manufacturing). In 1970, the shop was moved to 743 Eastwood Ave. (next to the Eastwood Bar). In 1976, Harold purchased Wayne’s share of the company. In 1977, the company was incorporated and the shop moved to it’s current location in Brimfield, Ohio. In 2000, Joe Collier and Ben Morrison purchased the company and buildings.
Today Ben and his new business partner, Jeff Eddy specilize in Residential, Commercial and Industrial Overhead Doors, Rolling Steal, Fire Doors, and Loading Dock Equipment
