Awning Concepts Unlimited LLC

My name is Michelle Yackiel, owner of Awning Concepts Unlimited, LLC.

Awning Concepts Unlimited, LLC is a proud veteran owned and supported company.  In addition to my own service time in the US Army, I was a military spouse for 25 years.

All 3 of my children have been or are currently serving in the United States military.

I am a long time member of the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary.

Recently, Awning Concepts Unlimited, LLC sponsored and participated in the American Legion Riders Bike Show.  As an unfortunate consequence of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the global war on terror, many children of our active-duty military personnel are now members of single-parent families.  Our sponsorship helped to raise funds to ensure that higher education will be a reality for these families.

Volunteering my time is something I truly believe in.  When my children were young I volunteered in the school and PTA.  I was voted in as PTA president and served for 2 years.  During this time I also served in various positions in Cub Scouts and eventually became the Cub Master.

The military and volunteering has shaped me into the person I am today.  Opening this company is just an extension of those experiences.  It's yet another way to help people make informed choices in the shading world.

Our planet cooks under the heat of the sun and UV rays.  Awnings and window tinting is a way to combat these issues and still let us safely enjoy our own backyards.
