United Foundations, Inc.

United Foundations, Inc was started in 1982 by Don Stillwell and incorporated in 1983. Mr. Stillwell began the business as a deep foundation contractor specializing in the installation of augered cast in place piles as a supplement to his equipment building company, Stillwell Equipment Company, which has supplied the drilling industry with specialized drill rigs for the installation of augered piles since its inception in 1975. Over the next quarter century, both companies have expanded to meet the challenges of the evolving deep foundation industry by offering more services and building more specialized equipment to meet the challenges of today's market.

United Foundations, Inc has expanded it's expertise to include driven deep foundation elements such as H-Pile, pipe piles and sheet piles, the design and installation of both temporary and permanent earth support systems, the installation of both temporary and permanent tie-backs, as well as the installation of drilled cased deep foundation piles ranging from 8" to 24" diameters. In addition to the installation of deep foundation elements, United Foundations, Inc. has also been involved in subsurface modification by the injection of both cement based and chemical based grouts as well as erosion control by the placement of grouted fabric mattresses and larger fabric bags. United Foundations, Inc. also performs structural concrete repair by utilizing the pre-placed aggregate method.

The close association with Stillwell Equipment Company allows a quick response to equipment needs and repairs for those inevitable instances of equipment break downs. This close association also allows United Foundations the ability to modify its equipment to meet the requirements of the projects logistics and access in very restricted conditions to offer its clients an economical solution to their deep foundation needs.
