Our Story

Infrastructure Repair Service was founded in 1996 to provide concrete repair, structural steel and waterproofing to parking garage owners. To date we have completed over 1,000 projects with a wide variety of price ranges, from day rate work at $1,200.00 per day to $15,000,000.00.

Infrastructure is a member of the International Concrete Repair Institute, as well as the Sealant and Waterproofing Repair Institute. We are licensed by nearly every manufacturer in the concrete restoration industry, including Neogard, BASF, Watson Bowman, Sika, Euclid, Prime Resins, Aquafin, American Hydrotech, Tremco, and many others. In addition to concrete restoration, we also provide underpinning, shoring, compaction grouting, chemical and epoxy injection services. This versatility allows IRS to self-perform nearly 95% of all contract revenue on each project. We have also been recongnized internationally, winning the International Concrete Repair Institute’s Award of Merit for our project with Columbia University’s 100 Haven Avenue Garage (2014) as well as with United Parcel Service’s Houston Street Garage Facility (2010), both in New York City. We have also been published in “Coatings Pro” magazine for our project at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Stadium, where we replaced all waterproofing and sealants on the interior bowl of the stadium (2014). We have recently added Waste Facility Transfer Station work/tipping floors to our services.

Over the past nineteen years we have invested in equipment to expedite projects. Our equipment inventory includes Brokk robotic concrete breakers, shot blast and surface preparation equipment, concrete and grout pumps and a volumetric concrete mixer. We now own a hydro-demolition machine. It is our belief that investing in equipment not only expedites projects, but saves our customers valuable time and money.

We also pride ourselves on our safety record and employ outside consulting and audit services to monitor jobsite safety and to supplement our own programs. Each year, every employee undergoes a minimum of ten hours of safety training by Safety Net, Inc., including their OSHA 10 Hour Certification Card and their OSHA 4 Hour Scaffold Safety Certification Card. Each employee also undergoes yearly physicals to ensure health and proper use of all safety equipment.

Our primary focus is to do the right job the first time, and to build lasting relationships with owners and engineers.
