History / Future  

1st Generation
Our family has been involved in the small business environment since the early 1930’s when our grandfather owned and operated a farm. To supplement his income he built a gasoline station on the property. Raising four sons he taught them a strong work ethic along with good business values as they worked at the business while growing up. With an entrepreneur spirit, all four sons went on to own and operate their own business.

2nd Generation
One of his sons (our father) arrived in New Jersey around 1952 and after a few years he opened a diesel mechanic shop as diesel engines and trucks became increasingly popular. By the mid 1960’s he diversified into the trucking industry running a fleet of tractor trailers. During the deregulation of the trucking industry in the early 1980’s he spotted a new business opportunity. A fuel oil company was started with only one old fuel truck. After a few years and a lot of hard work, a complete transition was made into the fuel oil business.

3rd Generation
His son joined the company in the mid 1970’s as a young boy “tagging along”. By the early 1980’s that son started working part time after school washing, maintaining and repairing trucks. That son was required to work for many years at every position in the business. Learning the business the “old school way” and climbing the ladder to president today. He now runs the business with hands on approach and can be reached directly with a simple phone call.

Future
Our goal is to remain a family run business with personalized approach to our customers. Unlike our peers we did not build our business to sell it for a profit. Since we are a well established business, we intend to be around for many years to come. We can proudly say our business was “built not bought” through the hard work of a dedicated staff and the loyalty of our customers.
