In 1999, John Slazyk and Steven Gattoni founded Schnell Contracting Systems in Freehold, N.J., on the principal of furnishing quality restoration and waterproofing services to a specialized construction market. These partners each brought experience from building material sales into the new venture, thereby applying their knowledge of service, reliability and product performance to field applications. Much of what they learned in the sales market became the foundation of doing business in the construction forum. “At Schnell Contracting we see a favorable difference between customer and client.
