The product was first used extensively in London in 1900 and in America around 1920. The Cast Stone Institute was incorporated in 1927. Replacement for many masonry materials and for all types of natural cut building stones.

Cast Stone is a highly redefined architectural precast concrete building stone made from a mixture of white and/or gray Portland cement combined with coarse and fine aggregates of white granite dolimite, quartz, and other durable limestone. This combination of materials then is used in two different production methods (Dry Cast and Wet Cast) when complete, cast stone is a highly dense, simulated natural stone with a texture similar to quality natural limestone.

Its finished surface is clean and sparkling. Cast Stone is available in a variety of colors, which, are created by adding mineral coloring pigments to the mixture.
