Elmhardt Construction Corp. formed as an open-shop carpentry contractor in 1993, specializing in commercial & industrial projects. Whether you’re involved in restaurants, retail, medical or corporate facilites, we have extensive experience in all of the above.

From new construction to open-store remodels, our commitment to meeting critical deadlines has earned us the opportunity to work for such clients as AT&T & Cingular corporate retail stores, the TJX companies (TJ Maxx, Marshall, AJ Wright & Home Goods), Steve Madden, the GAP & Dollar Tree stores.

We’ve completed several private medical facilities where clean-rooms, MRI and X-ray rooms have been part of the scope and involved phased sequences and critical guidelines.

With a heavy focus in Manhattan, we embrace the challenges posed in daily operations along with intricacies of hi-end work including residences. Whether it’s a recess, reveal, coffer or radius we can produce the features both architects and their clients are looking for.

But behind the elaborate finishes, we provide all aspects of rough carpentry from wood beam and C-joist framing, light-gauge steel curtain walls and exterior assemblies for many of the requirements in altering existing buildings or new construction.

Our staff includes a combination of 20 plus full-time carpenters and apprentices under the supervision of 4 foremen and 2 project managers. Our 2 estimators have been complimented routinely for their thoroughness evident in our detailed proposals. Each principal is responsible for not only supervising but participating in the daily operations.
