NorthEast Louvers, Inc.

North East Louvers, Inc. is a privately owned company specializing in the fabrication of architectural louvers, equipment screens and cooling tower screens. NEL has been incorporated under the North East Louvers banner since 2000 but our management group and ownership have over 70 years of experience in the louver fabrication business. In 2004 NEL moved into our new 12,000 sq. ft. fabrication shop in Mifflintown, Pennsylvania.

We at NEL not only offer a full line of architectural and industrial louvers as depicted within our catalog and this website but NEL specializes in the fabrication of custom louvers. Special shapes, custom materials or just a new design to suit your aesthetic needs, we encourage the Architect to contact us and we will gladly apply all of our resources to help achieve the desired performance or appearance.

Estimating

At North East Louvers all of our estimating is done via our custom designed computer system, these programs were designed specifically for NEL to reduce turnaround time and increase productivity. Most pricing will be returned within 24 hours of your request.

Engineering and Detailing

As with our estimating department, our engineering/detailing departments utilize all the latest computer drawing programs. Both Accucad and Autocad are used in the creation of approval drawings. Here too we understand that time is critical and on most projects approval drawings will be issued within one week of the issuance of a purchase order.

Fabrication

We at NEL understand what the louver buying public is looking for. They are looking for a quality product at a reasonable price, delivered in a timely manner. It is with this in mind that we approach every project. At NEL we understand that a great price and a great product is only part of the equation, in today’s market time is at a premium. Our General Manager has over 40 years of louver fabrication experience and personally inspects all projects before they ship.

AMCA

The Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA)is a non-profit trade association whose mission is to, “promote the health and growth of the air movement and control industry consistent with the interest of the public.” AMCA standard 500 allows manufacturers to test their products under strict guidelines. All results shown are based on tests and procedures performed in accordance with AMCA Publication 511 and comply with the requirements of the AMCA Certified Ratings Program.
