Every Floor & Decor is managed locally by a CEM – chief executive merchant. Each store also employs a pro-sales manager, focused specifically on serving the contractor and professional remodeling segment in each market. Also present in each store are design professionals who offer complimentary design services to customers. The product mix, services and store experience are designed to meet the needs of each local market. Additionally, Floor & Decor stores actively assist local non-profit organizations -including booster clubs and PTAs- by facilitating fundraisers and offering up a fun, festive atmosphere to host events. Floor & Decor donates flooring products to assist local non-profits and community groups. Floor & Decor also works with contractor and designer associations, providing continuing education classes that offer points toward ongoing certification requirements.
The Company was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Floor & Decor currently operates 40 stores in 18 metropolitan markets across the country. Stores typically range in size from 60,000 to 80,000 square feet, and each store stocks approximately 2,500 products.
