Scope Of Work
This project focused the construction of the Altus Municipal Complex which has replaced an aging facility of more than 100 years old. The new facility houses city administrative offices, the police station, the municipal court, and City Council chambers, bringing 96 employees under one roof. The building concept was part of the Making Altus Progressive (MAPS) Plan put together by city leaders, which was approved by voters and funded through a three-quarters-of-a-cent sales tax.
The Altus Municipal Complex is Main Street, and the 43,000 square foot facility provides the city with convenient consolidated municipal services in a prominent, iconic structure.
The building was designed and constructed to be both smart and green in its functions, and uses innovative computerized and energy-saving technology.
