Scope Of Work
Allegrone was selected as the General Contractor to fully renovate the sixth floor at the Medical Arts
Center at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA into new clinical practice space. Once an existing
employee training area with break rooms, this 4,000 square foot space was fully renovated into five exam rooms and four offices.
Allegrone’s scope of work included all new HVAC, sprinkler, plumbing, carpentry and finishes associated with the new space. The building was fully occupied throughout the entire construction phase and required Allegrone to follow all health care requirements with working in occupied spaces within a healthcare facility. Negative air machines were used throughout the project. Allegrone completed the project under budget and ahead of schedule.
