Skylight Concepts, Inc (SCI) was established January 18, 2002 as a skylight manufacturer/sales, repair and installation company located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The principals of the company have a combined 60 years of experience in the skylight industry, including skylight engineering and manufacturing, retro fitting skylights, field supervision of skylight repairs and installation. SCI has a complete staff for sales, design, project management and installations.

The company currently provides a complete line of skylight products for all aspects of the market including hospitals, hotels, airports, retail, high end residential, municipal, educational and industrial. SCI meets the needs of practically any skylight requirement. These systems include monumental structural glass skylights, elevated walkway canopies, glass pinpoint systems, glass railings, skylight gutter systems, translucent panel skylights, barrel vault skylights, etc…

As a highly visible skylight company in the construction, building and property management industry, SCI has obtained contracts throughout the state of Florida, the United States and the Caribbean. These projects range include large condominiums, malls, shopping centers, hospitals and medical centers, commercial offices and upscale residences. Projects include installation of skylights in new construction, complete retrofit of existing skylights, repairs of existing skylights and removal of skylight systems for building demolition. SCI has developed relationships with numerous nationally recognized Corporations, General Contractors, Developers and Property Managers.

Partnering with Metcoe Skylight Specialties in California, SCI has engineered and tested structural skylights that have been approved by Miami-Dade Code Compliance and The Florida Building Code, and is one of only four manufacturers throughout the United States to pass this rigorous testing. As state codes have changed in Florida, Gulf Coast states, and the Southeastern United States requiring impact rated skylights in most projects, the ability to provide an approved skylight will facilitate the growth of Skylight Concepts into the foreseeable future.
